Hello, Estrella Elementary! My name is Diana Lugo and I am the Psychiatric Social Worker supporting staff, students, and families with emotional and mental health services. I implement evidence-based interventions and recommend procedures to support students with behavioral, social, and/or emotional needs. As a mental health advocate, I promote the early identification of student needs and provide interventions that assist in reducing the impacts and effects of social/emotional challenges on a student’s learning and academic success.
